Individualized coaching designed to build the physical qualities that support better athletic performance.
Athletes don't all need the same thing at the same time.
One athlete may need more strength and power. Another may need better acceleration, coordination, or change-of-direction ability. Others may need to improve movement quality, resilience, or their ability to handle the demands of practice and competition.
That's why Athlete Development starts by identifying the athlete's priorities and building training around them.
Identify → Design → Build.
Training priorities are based on the individual athlete and may include:
Develop the ability to produce and apply force.
Develop the strength, mechanics, and physical qualities that contribute to faster movement.
Improve deceleration, body control, footwork, and the ability to efficiently redirect movement.
Improve control and efficiency across a variety of athletic movements.
Build physical capacity to better tolerate the demands of training, practice, and competition.
Not every athlete needs equal emphasis in every area. We identify what matters most and spend training time accordingly.
Athlete Development combines individualized programming with a small-group coaching environment.
Athletes follow their own training plan while receiving hands-on coaching for technique, progression, and execution. With a maximum of four athletes, they can train alongside others without getting lost in a large group workout.
Maximum group size: 4 ATHLETES.
Athlete Development is generally designed for high school athletes who are ready for structured strength and conditioning.
Grade level is a starting point, not a strict requirement. Training experience, physical development, goals, and individual needs may make Athlete Development appropriate for some younger or older athletes.
It's a good fit for athletes who want to get stronger, become faster or more explosive, improve movement and change-of-direction ability, prepare for an upcoming season, or build greater physical capacity for their sport.
Every athlete begins with a complimentary Discovery Session.
We'll discuss sport, training history, goals, previous injuries or limitations, and current needs. We'll also assess relevant movement and physical qualities.
From there:
Identify the athlete's needs and priorities.
Design training around what we find.
Build the physical qualities that matter.
