How? Unlike most personal trainers, I spend an enormous amount of time getting to know you, before I create your plan or we perform our first exercise. This is because I understand that each person is UNIQUE, with their own goals, time constraints, interests, training history, temperaments, injuries and much, much more. Since you are so unique, why do most personal trainers insist on providing the same cookie-cutter workouts for everyone? They essentially force you into a rigid plan…the same exercises, reps, sets session after session, instead of creating a plan that fits who you are. This antiquated approach not only shows the Trainer’s lack of expertise in physical transformations, but a lack of worldly wisdom in dealing with other humans in general!
What To Expect:
You'll get stronger. Whether your goal is to become a champion powerlifter, lose weight, gain muscle, improve general health, or you want to improve your bone density and balance - strength plays a crucial role. The methods and the pace at which this occurs may vary from person to person, but at the heart of my coaching philosophy is "A stronger person will reach any fitness goal faster".
You'll learn proper technique. Good technique is critical for progress and safety. All levels of trainees need the help of a trained eye to keep technique sound. I will provide initial instruction, continuous real-time corrections, and encouragement.
You'll receive an expertly designed program. I will design a training plan that will ensure you meet your goals and is appropriate for you as an individual. Novice through intermediate trainees receive the right exercises, at the right dose, at the appropriate times.
You will be heard. A key to success will be establishing a trusting client/trainer relationship. Asking questions, observing and listening to your feedback allows me to make necessary adjustments to your program or an individual session. That's what sets me apart from my peers. I understand how injuries, fatigue, personal stress, lack of quality sleep, skipping breakfast and a night out with friends over drinks affects training, and I understand how to make adjustments on the fly to ensure you still make progress.
