​Easy-to-get-started You’ll start by telling me all about yourself, including your goals, health challenges, and daily routine. From there, I’ll customize your entire program and we’ll start the proven coaching process.
Small, powerful practices to improve your life We’ll work together to identify and practice healthy habits across every aspect of your life, from sleep and stress-management to exercise and mindfulness. These new habits will help you become more calm, confident, and prepared for each day—no matter what comes your way.
Simple practices with daily accountability Every day, you’ll work on nutrition or lifestyle practice. Each practice is designed to help you get the results you are looking for.
Personal coaching and detailed progress checking We’ll check in with each other to see how you’re doing and to answer any questions you have. Also, you can message me whenever something comes up. The program also tracks everything from your measurements to your consistency, so you can see just how much progress you’ve made.

    3 Principles to a Successful Nutrition Program

    My nutrition coaching is based on science, countless real-world examples, and common sense. Keeping a focus on these 3 principles will assure that working together, we will succeed.
    DAILY ACTIONS
    We will focus on daily actions that are manageable but move us out of our comfort zone just enough to keep moving forward. Repeated actions build HABITS that are vital to sustaining a healthy lifestyle. Taking an action also reduces stress, helps us feel more in control of our program, and is a FAR SUPERIOR strategy than waiting around for willpower to guide us. Taking a 10-minute walk right after dinner is an ACTION, while mentally fighting the urge to have a large dessert after dinner is WILLPOWER. Which strategy sounds more effective and sustainable?
    KNOWLEDGE
    Nutrition contains some hard facts that won't change no matter how badly we want them to. Vegetables contain vitamins that we need. A calorie is a unit of energy that must be used up or it gets stored as fat. But beyond the basics, there's a lot of room to learn together about what works FOR YOU, and to create a healthier way to interact with and view your nutrition. How many meals per day works best for your hunger levels and busy lifestyle? What lower-calorie food substitutes curb your cravings? What types of physical activities work best for you? As we learn, your path becomes clearer, confidence grows, and results are achieved.
    SUPPORT
    If you've read this far, you might have noticed I've used "WE" and "US" a lot. That's because successful coaching programs are a team effort. Writing down how many calories you should eat and sending you on your way doesn't work, and it never has. Everything about you is uniquely you and I take that into account when working with you. Without judgement, we will find approaches that work for you and your lifestyle.
